Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations (UK WEEE Regulations Act 2006)
In accordance with the WEEE Regulations Act 2005, The Bradford Exchange is fully committed to preserving our natural environment. Having made a significant financial contribution through the ‘Distributor Take Back Scheme’ to the development of improved recycling collection points (known as ‘Designated Collection Facilities’), we are closely involved in the collection and recycling of all electrical equipment supplied by our business.
To help remind you to recycle, all of our new electrical products are marked with a crossed out wheelie bin symbol (as shown below).
Remember, you can take any old electrical equipment to participating civic amenity sites (often known as ‘household waste recycling centres’) run by local councils. All such equipment will be handled by others during the recycling process, so please be sure to remove any non-electrical product (for example food waste).
